We recently cleared space in the garage to tackle a much-needed upgrade. Rather than overhauling the entire space at once, we opted for a phased approach—completing one half now and reserving the other side for a full refresh once the '91 3000GT VR-4 goes to paint. That second phase will include cabinet updates along the remaining wall.
For this first phase, we addressed drywall imperfections and gave the ceiling a sleek flat-black finish to match our shop aesthetic. The real game-changer? Installing hexagon-pattern LED lights throughout. The improvement in distributed lighting is dramatic—these fixtures deliver serious brightness and transform the workspace into something genuinely functional for detailed work.
